About me
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Georgina Myerscough. I am a year 10 student from the Northern Territory, Australia. On the 6th of November I am departing on my 3 month adventure in France. There I will be living with my host mother (Céline), host father (Sébastien) and my two host sisters (Lisa and Chloé). My host family lives in the region of Brittany, in a small village of about 1,500 people called Le Verger. Le Verger is 25mins from the
largest town in Brittany (Rennes) which is approximatley 375km from Paris. I will be attending school at Lycée René Cassin in a nearby town called Monfort Sur Meu. I can't wait for my trip to begin! You can follow my journey here on my blog. Au revoir xx
P.s. I just want to quickly explain the name of my blog, 'Picking up French in Le Verger'. Le Verger when translated to english also means the orchard. You pick fruit in an orchard, so I will be picking up french in Le Verger. However, all the credit goes to my clever mum who was the one that actually thought of this.
